Due to the ongoing global Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, The Kitchen Restaurant will remain temporarily closed. We will be contacting all guests with confirmed reservations to assist in rescheduling for a date in the future.
Our staff can assist you with booking a reservation up to four months in advance if calling by phone. Reservations can also be made on OpenTable up to two months in advance. Please note, limited seating is available on OpenTable.
The Kitchen requires a credit card number to hold your reservation. We will contact you for verbal confirmation by telephone a few days prior to your reservation. All reservations must be confirmed verbally.
PARTIES OF FIVE OR FEWER POLICY: The Kitchen has a 48-hour cancellation policy for parties of five or fewer. If you must cancel less than 48 hours in advance of your reservation, your credit card will be charged $155 per guest canceled.
PARTIES OF SIX OR MORE POLICY: Parties of six or more are to confirm and pay three weeks in advance of the reservation, at which time the pre-payment will be non-refundable. This will include sales tax and a 22% restaurant service charge.
We offer both counter seating and table seating. Table seats are approximately 4 inches taller than counter seats. We will always do our best to try to accommodate your seating requests, but we do not guarantee assigned seats.
If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please let our reservationist know when you book your reservations so that our chefs can prepare the best possible substitutions for your dining experience.
Please note: Our facility uses wheat, egg, soybean, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish and many other potential allergens. Please be aware that normal operations involve shared cooking and preparation areas, including common fryer oil and grills. The possibility exists for food items to come in contact with other food products. Due to these circumstances, we are unable to guarantee that any menu items can be completely free of allergens.
The Kitchen has one seating per evening, by reservation only. Please allow approximately 3½ – 4 hours for the evening. Our doors open and service begins at the following times:

Dinner service includes a five-course prix fixe menu, as well as an interactive “intermission” menu, water, coffee and tea service. The menu for each evening is based on a weekly seasonal framework and features the freshest daily ingredients and unique creative touches.
The price of dinner is $155 per person, plus a 22% restaurant service charge on the entire check and sales tax. Please see Cancellation Policy above.
An optional wine pairing flight is curated for each week’s menu, with a selection of wines paired perfectly with each course. A glass of sparkling wine is served upon arrival and one glass of wine is paired with each course.

There is a corkage fee of $50 per 750ml bottle.
We offer a selection of well-curated spirits, sakes and craft beers. Mixed cocktails are also available. Outside spirits are not permitted.
We invite you to host your private party or corporate event at The Kitchen. There is a sixty-guest minimum at $155 per guest plus a $4,000 beverage minimum and a $3,500 room fee. A 22% restaurant service charge and sales tax will be added to the entire check. To secure your desired date, we recommend booking up to six months in advance.
The Kitchen does not have a formal dress code. Please feel free to dress however you are most comfortable. Most guests wear business casual attire.
The Kitchen has no exterior sign, so look for our address. We are located at 2225 Hurley Way in Sacramento, just off the northeast corner of the intersection of Howe Avenue and Hurley Way, in the second driveway as you head east on Hurley. The driveway is lined with palm trees at the sidewalk. The entrance to the restaurant is located on the east side of the building. Once doors open for service (see Dinner Service Hours), we will be there to greet you and check you in.
