The Kitchen is now booking reservations four months out, starting on the first of every month. Our team can assist you with booking a reservation if calling by phone during our office hours, Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, at 916.568.7171. Reservations can also be made using our online reservation system, Tock.
The Kitchen requires pre-payment of $165 per person plus tax and gratuity for all reservations. All sales are final and
non-refundable. You may, however, transfer your reservation to another person.

We offer both counter seating and table seating. Table seats are approximately 4 inches taller than counter seats. We will always do our best to try to accommodate your seating requests, however we do not guarantee assigned seats.
If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please let our reservationist know when you book your reservations so that our chefs can prepare the best possible substitutions for your dining experience.
Please note: Our facility uses wheat, egg, soybean, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish and many other potential allergens. Please be aware that normal operations involve shared cooking and preparation areas, including common fryer oil and grills. The possibility exists for food items to come in contact with other food products. Due to these circumstances, we are unable to guarantee that any menu items can be completely free of allergens.
The Kitchen has one seating per evening, by reservation only. Please allow approximately 3½ – 4 hours for the evening. Our doors open and service begins at the following times:

Dinner Service includes an six-course prix fixe menu, as well as welcome hors d’oeuvres, Temple Coffee Roasters coffee, herbal tisane, and mignardises. The menu for each evening is based on a seasonal framework, with an emphasis on local and unique product.
The price of dinner is $165 per person, plus a 22% restaurant service charge on the entire check and sales tax. Please see Cancellation Policy above.
An optional wine pairing flight is curated for each week’s menu, with a selection of wines paired perfectly with each course. A glass of sparkling wine is served upon arrival and one glass of wine is paired with each course.

There is a corkage fee of $50 per 750ml bottle.
We offer a selection of well-curated spirits, sakes and craft beers. Mixed cocktails and a mocktail pairing are also available. Outside spirits are not permitted.
We invite you to host your private party or corporate event at The Kitchen. Please call for availability and pricing information.
The Kitchen does not have a formal dress code. Please feel free to dress however you are most comfortable. Most guests wear business casual attire.
The Kitchen has no exterior sign, so look for our address. We are located at 2225 Hurley Way in Sacramento, just off the northeast corner of the intersection of Howe Avenue and Hurley Way, in the second driveway as you head east on Hurley. The driveway is lined with palm trees at the sidewalk. The entrance to the restaurant is located on the east side of the building. Once doors open for service (see Dinner Service Hours), we will be there to greet you and check you in.

Gift cards can be purchased in any dollar denomination. Gift cards can be purchased over the phone and mailed to you by completing the gift card purchase form. You can download the form, and fax it to 916.400.4562. The Kitchen gift cards are also available for purchase at all of our other Selland Family Restaurants including Selland’s Market-Café, OBO’ Italian Table & Bar and Ella Dining Room and Bar.
