Make Reservations

Dinner Service includes a six-course prix fixe menu, as well as welcome hors d’oeuvres and mignardises. The menu for each evening is based upon the best and freshest ingredients available, most of which are procured locally and regionally.


Effective July 1, 2024, in compliance with the passing and implementation of California Senate Bill 478, The Kitchen Restaurant will no longer apply a 22% service charge on goods and services.  In light of this new legislation, our updated pricing structure will be $265 per guest plus sales tax for food and service.

Any and all pricing increases are in an effort to provide and fair and equitable living wage for our staff while observing the directives of the California State Legislature. Please note that all beverages or additional services on the evening of our guest’s experience will be charged according to ‘as listed’ prices, plus California State Sales Tax. Additionally, any tipping or gratuities above the listed pricing are neither expected nor necessary. We appreciate your understanding.

Starting on June 3, 2024, The Kitchen will begin booking seats two months in advance, with reservations opening on the first day of each month (please note that we will not release any reservations in April and May 2024). Our team can assist you with booking your tickets if calling by phone during our office hours, Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, at 916.568.7171. Tickets can also be purchased using our online reservation system, Tock. 

Cancellation Policy

We do not accept cancellations, this is a ticketed experience. All sales are final and non-refundable. You may, however, transfer your tickets to another person.


We offer both counter seating and table seating. Table seats are approximately 4 inches taller than counter seats. We will always do our best to try to accommodate your seating requests, however, we do not guarantee assigned seats.

Harassment And Safety Policy

Selland Family Restaurants is committed to providing a safe and harassment-free workplace. Verbal and physical abuse of any kind will not be tolerated. Guests who mistreat our employees will be denied service and asked to leave immediately. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and harassment-free workplace. 

Dietary Restrictions

If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please let our reservationist know when you book your seats so that our chefs can prepare the best possible substitutions for your dining experience.

Please note: Our facility uses wheat, egg, soybean, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, and many other potential allergens. Please be aware that normal operations involve shared cooking and preparation areas, including common fryer oil and grills. The possibility exists for food items to come in contact with other food products. Due to these circumstances, we are unable to guarantee that any menu items can be completely free of allergens.

Dinner Service Hours

The Kitchen has one seating per evening, by ticket only. Please allow approximately 3½ – 4 hours for the evening. Our doors open and service begins at the following times:
Wednesday 6:30 pm
Thursday 6:30 pm
Friday 6:30 pm
Saturday 6:30 pm
Sunday 5:00 pm
Please refer to your booking confirmation email for the specific time of your experience.

Wine Pairing & Wine List

An optional wine pairing is curated for each week’s menu, with a selection of wines paired perfectly with each course. A glass of sparkling wine is served upon arrival and one glass of wine is paired with each course.

‘Seasonal’ Wine Pairing = $135 per guest

Corkage Fee

There is a corkage fee of $75 per 750ml bottle.

Spirits & Other Beverages

We offer a selection of well-curated spirits, sakes, and craft beers. Cocktail and mocktail pairings are also available. Outside spirits are not permitted.

Private Parties

We invite you to host your private party or corporate event at The Kitchen. Please call for availability and pricing information.

Party Size

Please note, that you are beholden to your party size, your party size cannot be adjusted. We ask that you not make multiple bookings with the intent of being seated together, as we cannot accommodate parties greater than 14.

Dress Code

The Kitchen does not have a formal dress code. Please feel free to dress however you are most comfortable. Most guests wear business casual attire.

Children Under 12

The Kitchen Restaurant is a unique dining experience, and in consideration for all guests, children are not admitted under the age of 12.  Additionally, The Kitchen requires pre-paid reservations for all seats in our dining room. 


The Kitchen has no exterior sign, so look for our address. We are located at 915 Broadway, Suite 100, Sacramento. Once doors open for service, we will be there to greet you and get you checked in.

Please use the parking spaces marked “RESERVED” that are located behind the building along the back wall. These parking spaces are specially reserved for guests of The Kitchen, from 5 pm to midnight. There is a security guard present that can help guide you. 

Gift Cards

Gift cards can be purchased in any dollar denomination. Gift cards can be purchased by completing the Gift Card Purchase Form. You can download the form and email it to or fax it to 916.400.4562.
