The palate is rich and viscous and really shows the tropical fruit and floral elements. The wine’s acidity is refreshing to the palate, preparing you for the next bite.
2013 Pride Merlot, California
Pairing Notes: Often described as a Cabernet-lover’s Merlot, this vintage of Pride takes the description to another level. The wine features a gorgeous, thick and round mid-palate that makes Merlot such an enjoyable wine, but this one also has tremendous density and size. It delivers chocolate, plum, and strawberry and pays great complement to the tenderloin.
